*I received this book as a gift for an honest Review*

HOLY BATMAN BALLS! This one was a hell of a ride. The title pretty much gave the tone away with this book. I am not going to to complain at all. I had fun figuring out which of these friends were going to cause the deception.

With everything that is going on in the book Amy Hale found this awesome balance to show the ups and downs of Janes and Colt's relationship. Like any real relationship, there are bumpy roads. I at times felt the need to sit each of them down and say listen here!

I Love the introduction of new characters, and Brett  getting some stage time. As a fangirl, I am really hoping that any of these awesome peeps (cough cough *Brett*) get there own spin off.

I had to refrain to go into full stalker mode, at the end of the book. I really wanted to get ahold of Amy and  demand to know what happens next.  It was seriously one heck of a cliffhanger. Of all the possible scenarios I could've thought of, that is just not one I would've come  up with.

Shadows of Jane
The Shadows Trilogy, Book One
by

Colt Henderson is a man who lives for the moment. His past has taught him that life is unpredictable and often disappointing. A confirmed bachelor, he believes that love only exists in fairy tales.

She’s lost, scared, and can’t remember a thing about her past or her identity. She senses all is not as it should be, but without her memory, how does she know what to fear and what to trust? Because of her status as a Jane Doe, she names herself Jane and works to put her life back together. In the process she learns that she possesses unique abilities that certain people will kill for.

Fate throws Colt and Jane together, but they both have a lot to learn about forgiveness and acceptance. Colt’s determination and Jane’s remarkable gifts will send them on a journey they never expected. To survive they will need each other, but sometimes facts are scarier than fiction, and the truth is better left unknown.

*I received this Book as a gift during the Holidays*

I am not sure if I should start with my love of Shadows of Jane or author Amy Hale.

Amy Hale has this way of writing that is just magical. Within the first couple lines, I was totally invested in the story. I love when an Authors writing style grabs me. I love how fluidity story went from Jane to Colt speaking with no hiccups. No major cliffhangers that had me shaking my fist at the sky.

Now on to the parts of the book I loved without spoilers of course.

Let’s start with Colt. Oh, how I adore him. I love how life bitch smacks him with feels. Nothing amuses me more. That is all I will state on this because I don’t think I could go on without letting a spoiler leak!

We meet Jane with no memories of anything. No matter how scared she is, Jane has this strength that is just amazing. Like anything she has to find it, and when she does it’s just beautiful. I not even sure that is the right word for it.

Jane’s gifts are… I struggle with finding the right word that would give them justice. Put it this way I want Jane’s gifts. I promise I would use them for good. :D

I highly recommend this book to anyone who Science Fiction Romance with a great female lead.

Reviewed: Sabin, A Seven Novel by A.M. Hargrove

Sabin
A Seven Novel
by
360 pages
4.4 Star Overall Rating Via Amazon
Released: 10/29/15

The Seven have a code: find and protect Judgment Day (a weapon of mass destruction that poses as a harmless necklace) and the ones who possess it at all costs; and never, under any circumstances, divulge information about ourselves.

I have always complied with this code. Until Serena Callahan, a sassy, no-nonsense female, found the damn choker, and now I’m the one being choked by my own emotions. Ever since the day, she entered my life that code has meant nothing to me. And for the life of me, I can’t figure out why I’m allowing a damn woman to lead me around by her slender finger. The rules have changed and she’s calling all the shots only she doesn’t know it. But if we can’t find the necklace soon, none of it will matter anyway.

My name is Sabin and I am the commander of The Seven.

This is a New Adult (soft) Sci-Fi Romance novel. Due to its sexual content and language, it is not suitable for younger readers.
*Alert* Hot Otherworldy Males can be found within the pages of this novel. Consider yourself warned.

A.M. Hargrove delivered a wonderfully sexy book with men from out of this world. I honestly can’t wait to read another Seven Novel (Edge, Please!) or another A.M. Hargrove Novel.

Sabin was the exactly right male I needed for this read. The right balance of wanting to smack that crap out of him one second and the next wanting to gobble him up the next.

Serena's background and life had me guessing at what it all meant. I had actually thought I had that figured it all out. Being wrong, was a very nice surprise.

Another surprise came when I thought I had figured out one the Sabin’s men. (Not saying who or what, cause of spoilers and all that) I was actually a little sad that I wasn’t right. I think I just wanted the extra drama of it all. I am special sometimes :P

I will mention one small detail I’m not 99.9% sure I am even pronouncing Sabin's name right. Heck, I couldn’t pronounce half of them. Though this didn’t take away from the story. I do enjoy it at times when authors get in touch with their inner Shakespeare.

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, USA Today bestselling author, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn’t do something soon, it would be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase. Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had super quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head. Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what laptop out the window. She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone, called her boss, and quit her job. Grinning, she made another call to her husband and told him of her new adventure (after making sure his heart was still beating).
Other than loving writing about romance, she loves chocolate, ice cream, and coffee and swears they should be added as part of the USDA food groups
