The Struggle is Real

 Hello Pretties!

I have a million plans and a million steps to do complete said plans. I come to the realization I am only good with plans that deal with immediate life.

I missed blogging the past 2.5 years and was blessed with time to start it back up. I figured I would get things going. I wanted to move everything to a different platform, so I started to work on that and noticed halfway through this very tedious move that I was still getting hits on this platform. So I had to ask myself if people are already coming to this platform to read my crazy jumbled up thoughts on books, why change the platform? It's already easy to navigate, fix, and doesn't require a crap ton of techie stuff for it to run. I will keep this platform, and it will be the only easy thing I do in this so-called "plan" I decided for myself.

After making that decision I made a plan to start posting more... Halfway through the month, I have posted twice. TWICE!!!! A Post about the digital books I picked up in July and My Humble goal of books to read in the month of August. BTW I haven't finished any of those five books and picked up a sixth for the list from Netgalley.

I noticed this plan wasn't really working out, so in the middle of the night, I made another plan. Okay, the plan was decided after a really awesome idea. So I made a plan, to work on right away... I got sick (I am Okay Now) and my brain stopped working. I did the very minimum to get by. I didn't even read during this time, because I just was that lowly. Seriously Midnight Sun Released during this time, and I had the book in my hands a couple days later, but still couldn't get myself into reading.  Now I have been well for a week today! While other life crap has happened it really didn't stop me from acting out my plans.

This morning sipping my coffee and playing my little game. I thought to myself that I keep setting myself up to fail. I need to stop making plans and start making goals. I am better at goals than I am at plans.

Plans are for the day, goals are what I want to reach.

Some days are going to be better than others, but I am going to reach my goals in this blog and hopefully something fun (That awesome idea I had)

For now, my TO READ LIST can be found on the side. Trust me it's longer than what you see, but it's what I am working on right now. As books are read, they will come off the list and a new book to replace it. I have 171 of 200 books to read, that I and the husband are working through. So you'll be seeing these books on the list a lot. Some are for the sake of reading other's will be just for fun. I can't wait to restart this journey with you.

Until next time...READ ON!!
